FirstBase is a complete administration programme written specifically for New Zealand preschools and kindergartens. It is simple to use, and can be used by staff without the need for extensive training. A full time help desk is available five days a week, with email support seven days a week.

The programme stores comprehensive data on each child, tracks absences and fees, and produces Ministry returns at the touch of a button. And a wide variety of lists can be produced at any time.

Skagerrak Software is a database development company since 1993. We started working in education and developed a large and healthy base of schools and later early childhood centres using the popular KidBase, eSchool and FirstBase packages. In 2005 We launched MotelMate for the hostel/motel/hotel market. This was followed in 2009 with eSchool Pro, an admin solution for International Student administration in High School and PTE's. Our products use the strength of FileMaker Pro as an engine combined with a host of web enabled features to improve scope and connectivity.
